Privacy Policy
In short: Pixel Prose does not collect, transmit or share any personal data. Your photos and your words stay on your device.
What the app does with your information
- Photos. When you choose a photo (with the system photo picker) or take one with the camera, the app reads it to build your mosaic. The photo is processed entirely on your device and is never uploaded, transmitted or shared with the developer or anyone else.
- Your text. The words you type are used only to draw the mosaic on your device. They are not stored on a server, sent anywhere or analysed.
- The finished mosaic. It exists only on your device unless you save it to your photo library or send it with the share sheet. What you do with it after that is up to you.
Permissions
- Camera — requested only if you tap Take Photo, to capture a picture for the mosaic.
- Photo library (add only) — requested only when you tap Save to Photos, to add the finished mosaic to your library. The app does not read your existing library; choosing a photo uses the system picker, which shares only the picture you select.
What we don't do
- No account, sign-in or personal profile.
- No analytics, crash reporting or tracking of any kind, and no third-party software in the app.
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
- No network connection is used by the app.
- We do not sell, rent or share data — we have none to share.
Children
The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes in a way that affects your privacy, this page will be updated and the date above will change before the new version is released.
